{"id":2674338,"url":"https://alion.io/job/srhaz-painter","title":"Painter","company":{"id":4421774,"name":"Sunshine Residential Homes, INC.","domain":"srhaz.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/srhaz","size_band":"201-500","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Paylocity","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"junior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Glendale, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":36000,"max_usd":64000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":7331},"experience_years_min":1,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-29T19:44:36Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-16","last_verified_at":"2026-10-21T09:43:00Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":22,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":22},"description":"Description\nThe Maintenance Technician has the overall responsibility to ensure building and equipment compliance with State and Federal regulations; ensure timely execution of repairs and maintenance; maintain a high standard of building and property appearance/maintenance; execute a preventative maintenance program focused upon minimization of equipment/building breakdown and repair/replacement expense.\nSchedule:\nMon-Fri 8am-4:30pm\nRotating On-Call\nDuties & Responsibilities\nCarry a cell phone as required for on-call maintenance. \n For each assigned program site, perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections and repairs of property and equipment. \nReport to Operations Supervisor additional maintenance found at each program site, in addition to the assigned maintenance.\nRepair holes in walls and replace drywall as required. \nPaint interior and exterior walls, hang pictures; assemble furniture as needed. \nReplace blinds and curtain rods as needed. \nSet-up and install computer cables as needed and install and repair computer outlets. \nReplace ballasts, light switches, light fixtures, and outlets as needed. \nRun new wiring into existing rooms for lighting, repair/replace emergency lighting, troubleshoot fire/dialer panels and electrical shortages as directed by Operations Manager. \nRepair/ replace leaky faucets, toilet components including but not limited to flush valves, fill valves, wax rings, shut off, supply lines; clear clogged drains; install and repair exterior sprinkler systems. \nRepair appliances at program jobsite including washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, stoves. \nPerform routine maintenance on all Sunshine vehicles including oil changes, checking fluid levels, replace wiper blades, brakes, and other diagnostics as directed by Operations. \nMonitor and maintain all office building systems as assigned. \nResponsible for alerting Operations of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur. \nAssure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines. \nFollow established company policies and those outlined during New Employee Training \n Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations. \nPerform repairs as indicated by inspections. \nIf repairs require an outside repair service, discuss with Operations in order set up scheduled repair.\nPurchase work related items for the purpose and use of Sunshine only and submits receipts weekly. Work within expense limits established. \nRequirements\nThe Maintenance Technician shall meet the following conditions:\nMust demonstrate proficiency with most commonly used hand tools and power tools: hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, saws, drill, circular saw, etc. \nMust follow regulations pertaining to the maintenance of facilities licensed by city, state and federal agencies. \nMust be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions. \nMust have a minimum of one year work experience in maintenance duties. \nMust be flexible in hours to facilitate the most reasonable maintenance schedule in order to accomplish the job efficiently and promptly as possible. \nMust be physically capable of performing job related tasks such as prolonged standing, lifting heavy items, going up and down a ladder, scraping of floors, etc. \nMust be at least 21 years of age or older\nMust have a valid Arizona driver’s license and transportation. \nMust have a level one fingerprint clearance as required by the Arizona Department of Economic Security and a physical examination prior to employment. \nMust meet all agency’s contractor and licensing agent requirements for agency personnel. \nMust be able to work in a culturally diverse environment. \nOther duties as assigned. \n Physical Demands: This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
