This capability supports production, redesign, and sustainment requirements for the life of a weapon system. SRI’s Microcircuit Emulation Center is a government-supported, U.S.-based Trusted foundry.\nResponsibilities\nPerforming hands on operational work in a cleanroom environment through computer operated terminals at production machines that are used to create microcircuits.\nLearn rules and regulations for working safely and in line with quality requirements in a cleanroom environment.\nLearn and use software programs to support creation of manufacturing process steps, data collection and presentation.\nPerform experiments, and execute operational steps to collect and analyze data using metrology equipment and methods.\nCreate Excel spreadsheets to collect and organize data and create PowerPoint presentations that summarize data.\nPerform public speaking in small meetings with various manufacturing staff to discuss results and next steps.\nLearn to operate metrology equipment including scanning electron microscope (SEM) to perform SEM work, thickness measurement using ellipsometry systems etc.\nInteract with staff across different operational areas.\nConsistently create and maintain documentation for work tasks and activities.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBS in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related subject\nDue to government contract requirements candidates must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing\nExperience with the following: experimental planning, data organization, graphing in Excel, and making PowerPoint slides\nBe able to write reports, and deliver PowerPoint presentations\nWorking Conditions\nAble to work in cleanroom environment for significant portion of day - up to 7 hours\nMonday - Friday, on-site, 8:00-5:00pm\nThe salary range is: $20.76-$27.51/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles.
