performance and scalability.\n\n- Implement data access controls, user permissions, and security within Looker.\n\n- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting solutions.\n\n- Troubleshoot dashboard, LookML, SQL, and data-related issues.\n\n- Establish and maintain BI development standards, reusable components, and best practices.\n\n- Support deployment and version control of Looker code using Git and CI/CD processes.\n\n- Mentor junior Looker developers and provide technical guidance to BI and analytics teams.\n\n- Prepare technical documentation for LookML models, dashboards, data sources, and reporting solutions.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience :\n\n- Strong experience as a Looker Engineer / Looker Developer / BI Engineer.\n\n- Hands-on expertise in Looker and LookML.\n\n- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex queries.\n\n- Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.\n\n- Experience developing Looker dashboards, Explores, Looks, reports, and visualizations.\n\n- Experience with derived tables, persistent derived tables (PDTs), and LookML parameters.\n\n- Strong understanding of BI and analytics development lifecycle.\n\n- Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.\n\n- Experience with Git/version control and software development best practices.\n\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management
