The new hire will initially work normal daytime hours for approximately 2-3 months for onboarding and training before transitioning to the night shift, once prepared to support our systems independentlyYour Mission & Key Responsibilities\nProvide overnight technical support, responding to calls and tickets involving hardware, software, applications, and network connectivity.\nInstall, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and peripheral devices across the organization.\nManage and support core network infrastructure, including VPN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and SonicWall firewalls.\nAdminister Active Directory and Group Policy to manage user access and ensure system security.\nDiagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to the appropriate teams as needed.\nProactively maintain system health through patching, updates, and data backup procedures.\nProvide clear technical guidance and support to users.\nDocument troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and outstanding issues to ensure clear handoffs to the daytime IT team.\nPerform scheduled overnight maintenance and coordinate with the on-call SysAdmin for escalations and additional support.\nAssist with team projects, including system upgrades, deployments, and other IT initiatives.\nTravel to company sites as needed to perform additional on-site troubleshooting and replace hardware.\nWhat Sets You Apart\nProven experience in an IT systems and/or network support role.\nIn-depth understanding of diverse computer systems, network architecture, and security protocols.\nExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.\nA self-starter with outstanding time-management abilities who can work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.\nHands-on experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, VMware, Dell hardware, and SonicWall is highly desired.\nIT certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or CCNA, are a significant advantage.\nAvailability to work the required overnight schedule and attend daytime training during
