If you take pride in a good day’s work, enjoy driving heavy equipment, and want to help build the future of your community, this is the job for you.\nYour Mission & Key Responsibilities\nTake the wheel of powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant-keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.\nLoad and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.\nWork side-by-side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.\nCheck your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixing-your safety and theirs comes first.\nFollow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.\nPitch in to keep your work area clean and organized-because a tidy site is a safer site.\nHelp count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.\nShare your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.\nBe ready to lend a hand wherever you’re needed-whether it’s helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.\nWhat Sets You Apart\nExperience running loaders or other big machines is great, but if you’re willing to learn and work hard, we’ll train you.\nValid Driver’s License.\nYou care about safety-yours and your team’s-and you’re not afraid to speak up if something’s not right.\nYou know how to check your equipment and handle basic fixes.\nYou’re a team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.\nYou’re physically able to handle a job that keeps you moving in all kinds of weather.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is helpful, but not required.\nWillingness to complete our pre-employment screenings.\nYou live by our 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter.\nAbout SRM\nSRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is a family-owned, values-driven leader in the ready mix concrete industry.
