The role also involves customer interaction and warehouse support to uphold service and safety standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSafely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations and company policies.\nPerform pre- and post-trip inspections, operate cranes and forklifts, and coordinate with rooftop loaders to ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries.\nVerify inventory, document deliveries with photos, and assess job sites for safety risks.\nProvide excellent on-site customer service and support warehouse and yard maintenance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis physically demanding role requires regularly lifting up to 100 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather.\nCandidates must safely operate commercial vehicles and cranes, navigate ladders and confined spaces, and tolerate high noise levels.\nRoutine tasks include driving, material handling, and adhering to all safety regulations.\nClimb ladders and work at heights\nReasonable accommodations are available per ADA, and the company is committed to equal opportunity and an inclusive workplace.\n Minimum Qualifications:\nValid CDL driver’s license with air brakes endorsement\nProficiency in performing routine maintenance and safety checks\nKnowledge of basic mechanical systems\nExperience operating conveyor belts, knuckle booms, or crane-equipped trucks\nForklift operation experience; certification preferred\nKnowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards\nProficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)\nSkilled in pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections\nCapable of conducting job site inspections and reporting conditions\nStrong adherence to safety protocols\nClean driving record (no hit-and-run, DWI, or DUI in the past 36 months)\nMust pass background check and drug screening\nMinimum Education:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nCertifications:\nCurrent DOT medical certificate\nNCCCO Crane Certification: ABC/ABL certification is required.\nTruck Crane Operation Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.\nTelescopic Boom - Fixed Cab Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.\nBoom Truck - Fixed Cab Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.\nArticulating Boom Crane Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.\n The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $31.25 to $40.58 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
