This role partners with business and technology leaders to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps that improve scalability, operational efficiency, cybersecurity, acquisition integration, and enterprise value.\nThe Enterprise Architect provides architecture leadership across ERP, financial, HR, SaaS, integration, automation, and other enterprise platforms while establishingstandards, governance practices, and future-state architecture. The role also serves as a trusted advisor and mentorsarchitects and other technology professionals across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and maintainthe enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, reference architectures, and governance framework.\n\nDevelop and maintainbusiness capability maps, application portfolio views, technology roadmaps, and current- and future-state architecture models.\n\nCultivates strategic relationships with business unit leaders, serving as a trusted advisor to understand and address their evolving enterprise application needs and objectives.\n\nLead architecture planning across enterprise applications, ERP, finance, HR, supply chain, logistics, cloud, and other technology platforms.\n\nLead Architecture Review Board activities to ensure technology initiatives align with enterprise standards, business priorities, integration patterns, cybersecurity requirements, and approved roadmaps.\n\nPartner with business and technology leaders to understand business needs and provide strategic architecture guidance and recommendations.\n\nPartner with data and analytics teams to advance data architecture, master data management, governance, reporting, analytics, and AI readiness.\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies, including AI, automation, cloud services, and digital platforms, and recommend practical business applications.\n\nAdvise project teams on solution design, balancingbusiness value, cost, risk, scalability, maintainability, speed, and enterprise standards.\n\nCommunicate architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, and recommendations to executive, business, and technical audiences.\n\nMentor architects, engineers, analysts, and technology partners to strengthen architecture practices across the organization.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nReporting Relationship\nReports to the Vice President, Enterprise Applications. This position does not have direct reports but provides leadership and influence across cross-functional and matrixed teams.\nTravel Requirements\nApproximately 10-20% travel may be requiredto business locations to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.\nPhysical Requirements\nThis position primarily involves standard office activities, including prolonged computer use and participation in virtual and in-person meetings. The position may operatein a hybrid office and remote work environment.\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a relatedfield.\n\nExperience\nMinimum of 15 years of progressive experience across enterprise applications, technology platforms, solution architecture, and related IT disciplines.\n\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in domain or solution architecture with responsibility for aligning enterprise applications with business requirements.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of enterprise architecture experience within a complex, multi-platform environment.\n\nExperience establishingarchitecture standards, governance practices, technology roadmaps, and cross-domain architecture direction.\n\nExperience supporting complex organizations with multiple ERP systems, distributed operations, acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.\n\nDemonstrated experience serving as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership.\n\nTechnical and Professional Qualifications\nExpertiseacross enterprise architecture domains, including business, applications, data, integration, security, cloud, infrastructure, and technology.\n\nStrong knowledge of enterprise applications, ERP, finance and HR systems, SaaS solutions, cloud architecture, APIs, middleware, EDI, and application modernization.\n\nKnowledge of enterprise data architecture, master data management, data governance, analytics, reporting, and data quality practices.\n\nExperience with cloud and hybrid technology environments, including Azure, AWS, multi-cloud, and on-premisesolutions.\n\nAbility to evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into practical business recommendations.\n\nStrong strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams without direct authority.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Business Administrationor a relateddiscipline.\n\nExperience within building productsdistribution, wholesale distribution, retail, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, construction services, or another branch-based or acquisition-oriented industry.\n\nExperience with enterprise architecture or application portfolio management platforms such as LeanIX, Ardoq, Sparx, MEGA, or similar.\n\nExperience with enterprise applications and SaaS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Descartes, Esker, OneStream, orsimilar.\n\nExperience with AI architecture, responsible AI governance, intelligent workflows, and enterprise automation.\n\nExperience leading complex technology initiatives and organizational change.\n\nPreferred Certifications\nTOGAF Certification\n\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional\n\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert\n\nNot the right job for you?
