We call it 452 Hospitality, the foundation of how we serve our partners and their communities.\n\nPosition Title: Retail Warehouse Supervisor\nReports to: Retail Operations Manager and Assistant Retail Operations Manager (if applicable)\nResponsibilities \nDevelop and implement storage systems, policies and procedures to ensure maximum use and efficiency of space and storage areas in warehousing operations.\nContact vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies, shortages, over shipments or to arrange for emergency shipments or requisitions.\nEnsure your department’s team is set with the operation in mind: hire & recruit for new talent, integrate new team members, supervise assigned personnel, evaluate performance, develop, coach, issue documentation, and manage employee exits. \nFulfill guest's needs quickly and efficiently.\nSupport Retail Management team and lead warehousing plan to assure easy access and accountability of merchandise.\nContinuously monitor and provide feedback to Retail Buyer, Retail Operations Manager, and Assistant Retail Operations Manager regarding stock levels.\nRemain knowledgeable and on the foresight of and managing in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws.\nMaintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. \nUphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures \nSupport the operation in merchandising product to maximize sales.\nIncrease sales by promotional items or suggestive selling while on floor or covering breaks.\nProactively bring sales opportunities to the above team, analyzing product sales as necessary.\nPerform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.\nEnsure SSAfety standards are met by upholding training and daily operational expectations for department staff.\nManage all warehouse functions and operations of the warehouse for the Retail Department.\nOversee quality, product levels, and inventory of product.\nReceive and process deliveries of merchandise.\nEnsure that all merchandise is properly priced and labeled in a timely manner.\nProvide proper care when handling and transporting merchandise.\nAssist in the maintenance and repairs of the warehouse facility and equipment as necessary\nAbility to accurately process information / merchandise through a POS system.\nManage Accounts Payable software for initializing processing of invoices.\nPromote an inclusive & supportive approach at the Unit. \nSupports unit in being an example for Company & Client guidelines with regard to Sustainability/Conservation efforts. Displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary. \nSupports SSA / Unit in driving community effort through hiring efforts, engagement activities, and focus on opportunities of giving back. \nPerform other tasks as deemed necessary. \n\nJob Requirements \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to our team, Executive Chef, General Manager and HQ personnel as necessary.\nProven leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development, while fostering partnerships.\nExceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized.\nDemonstrates organizational and planning skills.\nDemonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.\nComputer and/or inventory system knowledge.\nPhysical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbx – 50lbs or more) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth above.\nAbility to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.\nDriving company vehicle and/or golf cart within the scope of employment requires a valid driver’s license and is subject to a DMV check.\n\nIDEA + Belonging \nPromote an inclusive & supportive approach within the Brand team, with networking continuing at all units.\nFocuses on removing barriers and empowering growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.\nLeads by example through Sustainability/Conservation efforts; displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary. \nEngages with SSA/Unit in driving community effort through engagement activities and focus.
