Purpose\nThe Scaffolding Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, coordination, and successful delivery of scaffolding projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards.\nThe role requires strong scaffolding-specific technical and operational experience, with the ability to manage manpower, materials, site activities, commercial performance, safety, and client relationships across multiple projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Management & Operations\n\nManage scaffolding projects from mobilisation through execution, completion, and demobilisation.\n\nDevelop project plans, schedules, manpower requirements, material requirements, and mobilisation strategies.\n\nCoordinate daily scaffolding activities, including erection, modification, inspection, handover, and dismantling.\n\nEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, programme, budget, and client expectations.\n\nMonitor project progress and proactively address delays, resource constraints, and operational challenges.\n\nPrepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.\n\nEnsure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.\n\nMonitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.\n\nResolve any disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.\n\nCoordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, HSE, Logistics, and Human Capital teams.\n\nEnsure scaffolding activities are carried out in accordance with approved designs, method statements, risk assessments, and applicable scaffolding standards.\n\nMaintain effective control and utilisation of scaffolding materials and equipment.\n\nEnsure adequate numbers of competent Scaffolders, Chargehands, Foremen, Supervisors, and Inspectors are deployed according to project requirements.\n\nCoordinate with scaffolding design/engineering teams regarding complex or non-standard scaffold requirements.\n\nEnsure scaffolds are properly inspected, tagged, handed over, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.\nCommercial & Cost Control\n\nMonitor project budgets, labour productivity, material utilisation, equipment costs, and overall project profitability.\n\nTrack project variations and additional works and ensure they are properly documented and communicated.\n\nSupport accurate forecasting, cost reporting, invoicing, and commercial reviews.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce unnecessary project costs without compromising safety or quality.\nClient & Stakeholder Management\n\nAct as a key point of contact for clients regarding project delivery and scaffolding operations.\n\nAttend client meetings, progress meetings, and internal project reviews.\n\nMaintain strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.\n\nRespond promptly to operational issues and client requirements while protecting the company's commercial and operational interests.\nTeam & Workforce Management\n\nLead and coordinate project teams, supervisors, foremen, and scaffolding workforce.\n\nSet clear expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and performance.\n\nMonitor workforce performance and identify training or competency\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience\n+8 Years of experience as a scaffolding project manager.\n\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.\n\nSignificant hands-on experience within the scaffolding industry is essential.\n\nProven experience managing medium to large-scale scaffolding projects.\n\nStrong knowledge of scaffolding systems, erection and dismantling methodologies, Work at Height requirements, and scaffolding safety standards.\n\nExperience managing large scaffolding workforces, materials, logistics, and project resources.\n\nPrevious experience within construction, industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure, or major projects is highly desirable.\n\nRelevant scaffolding qualifications or certifications such as CISRS or equivalent are advantageous.\n\nProject Management qualifications such as PMP or equivalent are advantageous.\nKey Skills & Competencies\n\nStrong scaffolding technical and operational knowledge.\n\nProject planning and execution.\n\nManpower and resource
