The role involves producing detailed Structural drawings based on design specifications, engineering inputs, and project requirements, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with applicable standards and contract documents. \nThe Draftsman supports Structural technical and project teams by creating shop drawings and as-built drawings, coordinated, throughout the project lifecycle, from construction to project handover. \nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nPrepare detailed Structural drawings, layouts, steel & rebar detailing, sections, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) preparation, and schedules based on approved designs, specifications, inline with instructions from the Technical Manager. \nDevelop and update construction drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings as required by the project. \nEnsure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and authority requirements. \nCoordinate drawing information with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, MEP, BIM, etc.) to avoid clashes and inconsistencies. \nRevise and update drawings based on review comments, RFIs, site conditions, and design changes. \nMaintain proper drawing version control and ensure timely issuance of approved drawings. \nSupport the preparation of technical submissions and documentation packages. \nAssist in resolving technical discrepancies by reflecting approved solutions accurately in drawings. \nPrepare as-built documentation reflecting site-installed conditions. \nFollow project drafting standards, templates, naming conventions, and CAD/BIM protocols. \nOther Duties and Responsibilities\nMaintain organized drawing records in accordance with project and contract requirements. \nSupport quality assurance procedures by ensuring drawing accuracy and completeness prior to submission. \nRequirements\nRequirements\nEducational Qualification\nDiploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology. \nJob-Specific Skills/Abilities\nArchitectural, Structural Design & MEP coordination related skills. \nSoftware skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel. \nSpecific/Relevant Working Experience\nMinimum 8 years’
