We are looking for a dedicated person who shares our core values of Customer Passion, Care, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Courage.\nAs Business Development Director, you will play a key role in growing SSC Space's orbital launch business, with a primary focus on selling payload opportunities on Firefly Alpha launches from Esrange Space Center. Working in an international environment, you will develop customer relationships, create commercial opportunities, and help transform Europe's newest launch capability into long-term business success.\nResponsabilidades\nIn this role, you will:\nDrive global business development and sales activities for orbital launch services and payload opportunities on Firefly Alpha launches from Esrange Space Center.\nIdentify, engage, and develop relationships with commercial, institutional, civil, and defense customers across international markets.\nLead customer engagement activities, understand mission requirements, and coordinate commercial and technical responses.\nDevelop customer value propositions, commercial strategies, and sales materials in collaboration with internal stakeholders.\nSupport negotiations, proposal development, and contract preparation together with legal, finance, program, and engineering teams.\nRepresent SSC Space at international conferences, industry events, customer meetings, and business development forums while monitoring market trends and new opportunities.\nRequisitos\nTo succeed in this role, we believe you have:\nA Master of Science degree, preferably in aerospace, space engineering, engineering, or a related technical field, alternatively an equivalent combination of technical education and commercial experience.\nProven experience in business development, sales, key account management, or commercial development within a technology-intensive or high-value industry. \nDemonstrated ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with international customers, partners, and stakeholders. \nStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.\nExperience working with complex customer solutions involving multiple stakeholders and technical requirements. \nFluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
