We are looking for a dedicated professional who shares our core values of Customer passion, Care, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Courage.\nResponsabilidades\nThis position Combines the role of the Mechanical Designer with the role of Mechanical AIT Operator for Satellite and/or Payload Integration within the AIT Unit, and you will be performing the following tasks:Actively involved with the team in the definition of the Satellite and/or payload integration approach.\nResponsible for the implementation of Satellite and/or Payload integration procedures.\nCollaborate with AIT Team on the Mechanical Integration of structure of NAOS SM, EM and PFM model.\nCollaborate with the AIT Team on the Mechanical Integration of the EM and flight units.\nCollaborate with the AIT Team on the Mechanical Integration of flight harness.\nInstallation of thermal and mechanical sensors: thermocouples, thermistors, heaters, accelerometers.\nDefinition and implementation of MAIT processes and related documents.\nHandling of Satellite and/or Payload and related MGSE, including use of cherry picker.\nMechanical support during the Satellite and/or Payload Environmental Test Campaigns.\nMechanical support during the Satellite Launch Campaigns.\nRequisitos\nMaster’s degree or comparable qualification in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience in the AIT area of space systems, with focus on mechanical integration activities for satellites or payloads.\n\nGood hands-on knowledge of the system engineering process forspace projects and familiarity with AIT flows and documentation.\n\nExperience with mechanical assembly, integration and verification activities in clean room environments, including handling of flight hardware.\n\nFamiliarity with MGSE/OGSE operations, mechanical tooling, alignment equipment and instrumentation used during satelliteintegration and environmental test campaigns (e.g. vibration, thermal-vacuum).\n\nAbility to interpret mechanical drawings, CAD models andassembly documentation.\n\nSystem-oriented thinking and capability to understand the interaction between mechanical, electrical and system elements during integration and testing.\n\nCreative thinking applied to engineering and AIT, with a strong problem-solving mindset during integration activities.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under tight schedules and clean room constraints.\n\nAvailable for business trips, including occasional shift work;.\n\nCommitment to objectives, willingness to take responsibility through motivation, dedication, initiative, proactivity and autonomy.\n\nGrowth potential in terms of adaptability to changing environments and flexibility of mind.\n\nFluency in English, both written and spoken;\n\nBeneficios\nCompetitive remuneration package, recognizing the value of your skills and expertise.\nUnique career opportunities, including the possibility of working in other countries with our SSC Group.\nPersonalized training and development programmes.\nTo be considered for this PositionPrior to 2026-10-31, please apply via our Job Application form.\nIf not directly interested, feel free to share this Job Vacancy with your friends!\nOutro\nSSC Space is a leading global provider of advanced space services, with more than 50 years of experience.
