SSC Space Italy is seeking for its client's Payloads/Equipment Business Units a Payload/Equipment System Engineer

Responsabilidades

• Requirement breakdown and engineering at unit/subsystem level.
• Definition of unit/subsystem architecture.
• Coordinate internal technical resources (electronic, mechanical, thermal, SW, etc,) and third parties for the flawless procurement of units/subsystems.
• Support the Procurement Manager to ensure that all procurements are completed on-time, within scope and within the allocated budget.
• Prepare documentation relevant to the assigned tasks.
• Support discussions with external suppliers.
• Support reviews with customers.
• Support the Payload Engineering Manager with payload functional analyses and trade-offs, interfaces definition and verification, analysis of the performances and design justification.
• Coordinate the requirement verification activities and the preparation of the verification control document.

Requisitos

• Master’s degree in electronic engineering, Space Engineering, Physics, or equivalent qualification.
• Significant electronic systems design and development experience.
• Verification control experience.
• 5 years minimum system engineering experience, familiar with the various engineering domains (e.g., electronics, structures, etc.).
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Able to discuss with suppliers and customers in English.
• Able to work autonomously following high level instructions.
• Structured work approach.
• Able to work under pressure.
