In Germany we have Spacecraft Controller teams in two sites, working on different missions. One is in Darmstadt working on ESA Interplanetary Missions at ESOC. The other is in Gilching/Oberpfaffenhofen working with the Galileo Mission in the Galileo Control Center or Multiple Missions at GSOC\nSecurity:\nIn line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.\nResponsabilidades\nCompletion of a 3-4-month training program with final certification\nMonitoring of satellites and telemetry\nMonitor and control the operations progress for multiple satellite missions, in accordance with the scheduled operations timeline\nExecute some specific operations, as defined in the operations timeline and in accordance with the established procedures\nUpon detection of an anomaly, take the corrective action as necessary, according to the approved contingency procedures, and support the responsible expert for further investigation\nLogging and reporting of routine and emergency operations\nPreparation and updating of procedures\nContribute to the maintenance of training material and train new spacecraft controllers\nMaintenance of software\nRequisitos\nCompleted Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree\nCommitment and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift system\nExperience in monitoring process workflows\nExperience in telecommunications or space industry is desirable\nExperience with Linux is desirable\nFluent in German as well as proficient in English\nDue to the specific requirements of the missions, proof of European citizenship is required for this position.
