You will also have a reporting line guiding the team during their day-to-day activity, establishing effective, collaborative relations with clients, peers and superiors.\nYour Key Responsibilities will include:\nAssume responsibility for the efficient day to day running of the group acting as a source of technical expertise.\nExercise operational oversight within the department and make operational decisions, also driving procedural changes to improve performance of related business areas, assisted by the AVP.\nHandle and resolve complex or unusual operational and managerial problems.\nEnsure that procedures, policies and processes are consistent, so a high quality service is delivered to the customer.\nEnsure benchmark KPI’s are achieved and exceeded where possible.\nContribute to the development of the organization in terms of financial planning, business strategy, service offerings and policies.\nUnderstand the risk environment within the department and manage appropriately.\nSet department objectives with the guidance of your AVP to ensure the team members are clear about their goals and objectives setting requirements each year\nPerform appraisals, regular 1-to-1s and ensure appropriate training plans are in place and followed.\nEnsure Career Development Plans are in place for all employees within the Team and manage Talent Performance Process within the deadlines.\nImprove current processes to meet the changing requirements of our clients and improve efficiency\nWhat You Will Bring\nAt least 7 years of Transfer Agency or Financial Services experience.\nPeople Management experience in operational management, realistically this will be at least 2-3 years in a management position.\nComprehensive procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Transfer Agency industry.\nA strong understanding of Fund Accounting, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry.\nAdvanced Computer Skills within Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.\nAbility to work independently and as part of the Team.\nExcellent administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.\nA clear, logical analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving; organization skills for oneself and others; willingness to assume additional tasks in order to share workload within team/department; initiative and meet deadlines\nExcellent communication skills - Fluent in English both written and oral.\nOther European Languages (French, German, Spanish and/or Dutch) considered as an advantage.\nWe encourage applications from people of all backgrounds to enable us to bring diverse perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
