SS&C prides itself on hiring diverse, honest, dynamic individuals, who value collaboration, accountability, and innovation to name a few.\nWhy You Will Love It Here!\nFlexibility: Hybrid Work Model\nYour Future: Professional Development Reimbursement including access to SS&C University\nWork/Life Balance: Competitive holiday scheme\nYour Wellbeing: Competitive benefits designed to support the wellbeing of our staff\nDiversity & Inclusion: Committed to Welcoming, Celebrating and Thriving on Diversity\nTraining: Hands-On, Team-Customised throughout your career\nWhat You Will Get To Do:\nReporting to the Head of Dealing Services the Dealing Vice President is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day dealing operations, ensuring the accurate and timely execution, verification, and settlement of investment transactions across multiple funds and asset classes.\nThe Dealing Vice President works closely with fund accountants, custodians, transfer agents, investors, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient trade processing, cash and liquidity management, issue resolution, and the delivery of a high-quality service to clients while driving continuous process improvements and operational excellence.\nThe role leads and develops the dealing team, monitors operational risks and controls, maintains compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and acts as a key point of escalation for dealing-related issues.\nYour Key Responsibilities will include:\nResponsible for the achievement of SS&C ASL performance targets and objectives and for the setting and achievement of the Dealing Services objectives.\nAct as a member of the operation’s senior management team lead, direct and manage TA Operations and contribute to the leadership of SS&C ASL as required.\nManage complex or unusual operational and managerial problems that are referred from above and below.\nResponsible for the ownership and management of vendor, audit and regulatory body relationships, as required.\nEnsure that Transfer Agency is properly resourced both in terms of people and technology whilst complying with agreed budgetary guidelines.\nFocus on development opportunities for your direct reports and ensure a focus on non-operational management within the department.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and with the relevant short, medium and long-term goals, objectives and values of the organization.\nDrive the development and implementation of appropriate procedures to meet internal control and external compliance and regulatory requirements.\nProvide regular feedback to managers and more senior colleagues with regard to Transfer Agency operations.\nLead and contribute to operational, client, risk, audit and regulatory meetings as required.\nInitiate and oversee tasks within a continuous improvement drive to ensure that the organisation is efficient and seen as customer and quality driven.\nWhat You Will Bring\nTypically, the successful candidate will have 10-12 years’ experience in a similar environment including at least 5-7 years in a management capacity. \nExcellent administrative, organisational and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.\nPossess excellent organisational, planning and co-ordination skills. Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines. \nExcellent working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. \nSound procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Transfer Agency business is required. \nThis should be complemented with a strong understanding of Fund Accounting, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry. \nA clear, logical, analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving. \nHigh organization skills for oneself and others, with a willingness to assume additional tasks in order to share workload within the team or department. \nExcellent communication skills - Fluent in English both written & oral.\nOther European Languages (French, German, Spanish and/or Dutch) considered as an advantage\nWe encourage applications from people of all backgrounds to enable us to bring diverse perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
