The ideal candidate is a seasoned .NET web developer with a strong front-end and JavaScript background, solid database skills, and hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. The developer will work closely with end users and business experts to deliver quality solutions that directly impact the company's bottom line.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain modern web applications using .NET.\nBuild responsive, interactive front-end interfaces using Blazor.\nDevelop and optimize backend services, APIs, and data access layers.\nWrite efficient, well-structured SQL and work with relational databases.\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.\nAdhere to best practices and object-oriented principles.\nPerform requirements gathering, business and systems analysis, and project planning.\nCollaborate with the team to research and design creative solutions to accommodate business needs.\nTest, validate, and deploy high-quality, reliable software products following established quality assurance and release practices.\nQualifications:\nMUST HAVE:\n15+ years of experience developing web applications using .NET (C#).\nSelf-directed and able to work autonomously with minimal oversight, while collaborating effectively when needed, and has the experience to recognize when each is called for.\nStrong JavaScript experience.\nSolid, working-level database skills - comfortable writing and optimizing queries, designing schemas, and troubleshooting (intermediate level; not entry-level, but not DBA/administration focused).\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot (Claude Code experience strongly preferred).\nMust possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.\nUnderstanding of common software project management practices.\nUnderstanding of common software development practices.\nPREFERRED / PLUSES:\nMicrosoft Blazor experience (preferred but not required).\nClaude Code experience (preferred over other AI coding assistants).\nOracle Database / PL/SQL experience (preferred but not required).\nExperience with RESTful APIs and data serialization formats (JSON, XML).\nFamiliarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.\nFamiliarity with Agile development practices.\nExperience working for a financial industry company and knowledge of securities.\nSoft Skills:\nSelf-motivated, inquisitive with a high level of integrity.\nAble to complete tasks with minimal supervision and own the work involved.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.\nGreat organizational skills and detail
