With over 20,000 employees and 15,000 clients worldwide, SS&C delivers mission-critical systems across fund administration, asset and wealth management, insurance, and pension operations.\nWhy Join This Team\nWork on systems that matter - Enterprise-grade platforms used across the financial industry\nBe part of AI-driven engineering - Exposure to AI-assisted development and emerging agentic workflows\nCollaborate with strong engineers - Learn from technically capable peers\nSupportive leadership - Actively improving tools and engineering practices\nCareer growth - Opportunities across technologies and roles within SS&C\nJob Description\nSS&C Technologies is seeking a Lead Software QA Engineer to ensure application functionality, reliability, and stability.\nKey responsibilities for this role include:\nDefine end-to-end QA strategy, test plans, and release criteria.\nDevelop and execute functional and integration test cases (both manual and automated).\nBuild and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.\nMonitor system stability and analyze test results to identify bottlenecks.\nCollaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality releases.\nDocument findings, quality metrics, bug tracking, and release reporting across engineering teams.\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment.\nPrior experience or knowledge of wealth management or financial services (trading, investments, portfolios, compliance, etc.) is an added advantage.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Developers, and DevOps\nAct as a single point of contact for providing timely resource and project updates\nMentor and coach QA Engineers of all levels of experience\nAble to breakdown work into smaller technical components\nExperienced with leading a team of QA engineers\nYou will be part of a low-ego, collaborative team where ideas are shared openly and engineers are encouraged to improve how things are done.\nWe care not only about what we build, but how we build it, emphasizing clarity, maintainability, and continuous improvement.\nRequired Skills\nTechnical Skills\n8+ years of QA experience, with strong expertise in test automation. Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium or Playwright) and API (Postman, Rest Assured). Strong debugging skills, with the ability to build test automation frameworks. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
