More than 23,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest companies to small and mid-market firms, rely on SS&C for expertise, scale, and technology.\nJob Description\nWe are looking for Chartered Accountants with relevant experience !\nAssociate Manager & Manager - Accounting - General Ledger\nSS&C Globeop Financial Services, US MNC\nwww.ssctech.com\nAfternoon Shift\nOffice Location - Mumbai - Goregaon\nJob Description\nRole Purpose\nOwn the integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting across geographic regions, resolve US GAAP and IFRS technical matters, lead the month-end close, and deliver fluctuation analysis for leadership - in a fast-moving technology business serving global Financial Services clients.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn GL integrity and the month-end/quarter-end/year-end close for subsidiaries across Americas, EMEA, and APAC - multi-entity, multi-currency, intercompany accounting.\nProvide technical guidance on US GAAP and IFRS topics relevant to technology business: including but not limited to revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), deferred revenue, capitalized software development costs (ASC 985-20 / IAS 38), leases (ASC 842 / IFRS 16), accruals, and intercompany accounting.\nDrive fluctuation (flux) analysis on P&L and balance sheet - decompose movements into FX, volume, pricing, and one-time drivers; present variance commentary to leadership and auditors.\nEnsure compliance with group accounting policies, SOX / internal financial controls, and local statutory requirements across jurisdictions.\nReview deliverables prepared by Senior Accountants and accountants; coach the team and finalize outputs within close deadlines.\nPartner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Revenue Operations, and regional controllers; manage external audit timelines and query resolution end to end.\nSupport ERP and reporting initiatives - including Workday Financials - and drive automation and standardization of recon and flux reporting.\n\nCandidate Profile\nChartered Accountant with post-qualification experience; Big 4 and/or multinational IT, SaaS, or fintech environment preferred.\nHands-on expertise in US GAAP and IFRS, including dual-GAAP reporting or conversion exposure.\nStrong command of GL accounting and technical topics, with the ability to independently research standards and document positions.\nExposure to all major geographies - multi-currency accounting, cross-border transactions, intercompany balances, and regional statutory close.\nDemonstrated fluctuation/variance analysis experience for management reporting.\n Workday Financials knowledge is an added advantage;
