You will partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Database, QA, Product and Operations, and on occasion work directly with Client Delivery and clients.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and improve CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions) and their usage across development and infrastructure teams.\nMaintain and enhance Helm charts and Chef cookbooks; deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes applications.\nDeliver well-scoped Azure infrastructure changes in Terraform, with design guidance from senior engineers.\nContribute to development workstreams alongside Development, Infrastructure, Security and Database specialists.\nMaintain and extend test automation infrastructure.\nCreate, configure, schedule and maintain client-facing UAT and test environments to a high standard, automating repeatable configuration wherever possible.\nPerform maintenance and upgrades to keep environments current and secure.\nProduce clear implementation guides so Operations can release client configuration into Production.\nProvide technical support to internal teams throughout the client testing lifecycle.\nOwn delivery of your own tasks end to end, escalating risks early.\nContribute to improvement initiatives led by senior team members.\nEssential Knowledge and Experience\nAt least 1-3 years in DevOps, platform or environments engineering\nWorking knowledge of Kubernetes deployments and troubleshooting, including Helm\nTerraform or another IaC tool for cloud deployment\nGitHub Actions\nPowerShell or Bash scripting\nAzure\nHands-on configuration management experience: Chef, Puppet or Ansible (Chef a plus)\nConfiguration and management of Windows Servers\nAgile development practices\nClear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues\nDesirable\nMessaging systems (e.g. IBM MQ)\nBasic T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server\nXML, JSON, XSLT and other file formats\nDatadog or other monitoring tool management\nTest-driven development: unit and mocking frameworks, patterns for testability\nLinux server administration\nGit or other VCS\nAPI testing tools (Postman/SoapUI)\nC#, SFTP, SWIFT/FIX\nKnowledge of financial services\nPerson Specification\nYou have a passion for good technology, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
