ML1 4YQ\nSalary £30,684 - £36,666 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.\nWorking Pattern: Permanent | Full Time\nThe Role\nReporting to the Accounts Payable Team Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of Accounts Receivable activities within the Group Accounts Receivable remit. A key focus of the role will be supporting effective debt recovery and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business to achieve debt and cash collection targets.\nYou will\n- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly, ensuring accuracy and maintaining strong customer relationships.\n- Achieve and exceed performance targets aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to support business objectives.\n- Deliver exceptional customer service, providing timely query resolution and professional telephone support.\nYou will have\n- Solid experience in a complex and fast-paced Accounts Receivable environment, demonstrating accuracy and resilience under pressure.\n- Strong customer service orientation, ensuring positive client interactions and timely resolution of queries.\n- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.\n- High numerical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills to manage reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.\nAbout SSE\nSSE’s purpose is to be restless every day until we make electricity clean, affordable and available for all.\nWe do this by developing, building, operating and investing in electricity infrastructure and businesses needed in the energy transition.
