Base Location: Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness. You'll be expected to spend at least 50% of your working week in one of these locations. Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available The role We have an opportunity for a CAD Engineer to work as part of the Large Capital Delivery Team, which develops designs for a wide range of construction projects within the UK. You will produce accurate plans, elevations, assembly layouts, operation diagrams, schematic and protection/wiring diagrams and other drawings, giving consideration to safety matters at all stages. This role involves electrical substation, overhead line, underground cable, and subsea cable work. You will Provide modelling, design, and drafting support on your assigned project(s) to develop and optimise Substation layouts to SSE requirements. Be involved in project options and development assessments, conceptual designs and developing work on BIM standards and model libraries.
