This is an opportunity to work on a wide range of critical equipment while developing your technical skills within a safety-focused environment.\nYou will\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment, helping maximise reliability and availability across the station.\nSupport engineering and improvement projects, contributing to the specification, procurement, installation and commissioning of equipment.\nManage and coordinate contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required technical and quality standards.\nControl isolations, permits and safe access to equipment, taking responsibility for safe systems of work when appointed as an Authorised Person.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, drawings and job plans while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.\nYou have\nA National Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering at NFQ Level 6, or an equivalent mechanical qualification. \nExperience working within an industrial, manufacturing, utilities, power generation or other safety-critical engineering environment.\nExperience managing or working under permit systems, controlling isolations and following safe systems of work.\nStrong mechanical fault-finding skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues safely and effectively.\nCompetent in the use of Enterprise Asset Management software for work control. Experience in Maximo would be beneficial\nExperience of pumps, valves, rotating equipment, compressors, hydraulic systems, engineering drawings or mechanical contractor management would be advantageous.
