With a level of guidance and support, role holders apply their knowledge to diagnose and resolve incidents, problems and develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements.\nYou Will\nDiagnose and resolve OT/IT incidents and problems with minimal support, including participation in escalation processes.\nProvide support, estimation, design, and development input for new enhancements to core OT/IT applications, working to defined standards.\nSupport monitoring and reporting of system performance and implement configuration changes as needed.\nAssist with release, change management, impact assessments, deployments, and regression testing for technical changes and patches.\nValidate and verify technical deliverables through QA and test processes, ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle.\nEnsure access and security of development assets, follow cybersecurity standards, and report risks to protect against loss and attacks.\nYou Have\nRelevant qualification or experience within OT/IT sector\nExperience in Renewable Generation preferably Battery Energy Storage\nExcellent with industrial OT systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Modbus TCP and industrial networking (Routing and Switching).\nExcellent with industrial OT systems such as Edge Computing (Linux) and Azure IOT Hub combined with a strong understanding of industrial networks and MQTT protocols.\nA systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving\nAbout SSE\nSSE has a bold ambition - to be a leading energy company in a net zero world.
