You'll bring together people, resources, contractors and operational priorities to make sure work happens safely, efficiently and at the right time.\nThis isn't about already knowing everything about offshore wind. It's about being able to plan, organise, solve problems and work with different people to get things done. You'll have the opportunity to build your knowledge of offshore wind while playing a direct part in the operation of one of Scotland's major renewable energy assets.\nYou will\nDevelop and coordinate short, medium and long-term maintenance plans, bringing together people, contractors, resources and operational requirements.\nLead daily and weekly planning discussions, resolving competing priorities and keeping planned work moving.\nUse maintenance information and operational data to build effective schedules, resource forecasts and support budget planning.\nWork with our maintenance management system, IBM Maximo, ensuring work orders and asset information are accurate and useful. If you've used another CMMS or maintenance system, we'd still like to hear from you.\nWork closely with colleagues across operations, engineering and maintenance to continuously improve how work is planned and delivered at Beatrice.\nYou have\nWe're more interested in your planning and operational experience than whether you've worked in offshore wind before.\nYou'll ideally bring:\nExperience in maintenance planning, engineering planning, scheduling, operations or asset maintenance, gained in an operational or engineering environment.\nExperience using a maintenance management or work management system. IBM Maximo would be useful, but experience with another CMMS is absolutely relevant.\nThe ability to juggle changing priorities, build practical plans and coordinate work involving different teams and contractors.\nStrong communication and organisational skills, and the confidence to speak up when you see a better way of doing something.\nA practical approach to solving problems and an understanding of why good planning matters in a safety-focused operational environment.\nExperience with MS Project, Primavera P6 or offshore wind would be useful, but isn't essential.\nIf you recognise yourself in most of this but don't tick every box, we'd still encourage you to apply.\nAbout SSE\nSSE’s purpose is to be restless every day until we make electricity clean, affordable and available for all.\nWe do this by developing, building, operating and investing in electricity infrastructure and businesses needed in the energy transition.
