This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to that evolution, influence how we deliver technology, and be part of a collaborative culture that values continuous learning, improvement, and shared success.\nYou will\nDeliver high-quality testing activities across your workstream, ensuring solutions are reliable, robust, and meet user needs.\nBuild strong collaborative relationships with delivery teams, stakeholders, and business colleagues to drive successful outcomes.\nProvide test expertise throughout the delivery lifecycle, including planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting.\nWork closely with Delivery Leads to define testing approaches, environments, data requirements, and delivery plans.\nChampion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing practices, processes, and quality standards.\nSupport and mentor colleagues, role model best practice, and help foster a secure, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.\nYou have\nAbility to work in environments that are undergoing change, working in an iterative and adaptive manner\nDisplay a solid understanding of testing best practice and the development lifecycle with good experience of applying this knowledge\nAbility to adapt testing processes to optimise delivery of outcomes\nExperience of applying risk based testing techniques\nBe competent in the use of multiple test management tools\nAbility to negotiate timelines and other delivery metrics across product lifecycle\nHave the ability to motivate and lead a team of testers and report accurately to management\nShows a high level of planning aptitude\nAbout SSE\nSSE’s purpose is to be restless every day until we make electricity clean, affordable and available for all.\nWe do this by developing, building, operating and investing in electricity infrastructure and businesses needed in the energy transition.
