This person will support local clients, but also with expectation to virtually support project teams in other locations as well. Using sound engineering practices, this role will support clients in the chemical, manufacturing, food, and pharmaceutical industries. The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. \nPerform or assist with the development of PFDs and P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications, and procurement.\nCoordinate with multi-discipline engineering and design teams to complete necessary project tasks.\nAssist in the creation of bid packages.\nPerform field work to support the above responsibilities.\nResponsible for acceptance or rejection of major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.\nEvaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods and techniques on work of small projects or on portions of larger projects.\nReceives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.\nReviews work with supervisor to ensure the application of sound engineering practices and professional judgment.\nMay supervise, coordinate, and direct the work effort of designers on the same project with some responsibility for checking his/her portion of the completed drawings.\nMay write portions of specifications and assist in preparing cost estimates.\nLeading engineering studies, write reports, and develop and complete engineering calculations.\nAssignments are selected to develop professional work knowledge and abilities using prescribed methods and standard techniques.\nApplies academic knowledge and training attained in the use of various building materials and building systems.\nPerforms a variety of routine engineering tasks requiring basic application of engineering fundamentals with increasing responsibility based on performance.\nWorks under close supervision;
