From day one, you’ll receive the training and support needed to leverage AI as a core tool for enhancing productivity, sparking creativity, and streamlining complex workflows.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the design and engineering of process systems, including fluid transfer, heat exchange, and high-purity piping systems.\nContribute to systems involving ultrapure water (UPW), high-purity water (HPW), specialty gases, chemical distribution, and wastewater treatment.\nPerform engineering calculations such as flow analysis, pressure drop (friction loss), pump sizing, and basic heat transfer evaluations.\nAssist in the development of PFDs, P&IDs, and system layouts under the guidance of senior engineers.\nParticipate in equipment selection and specification, including pumps, filtration systems, heat exchangers, and chemical delivery systems.\nCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to ensure coordinated system design in a design-build environment.\nSupport field activities including construction coordination, system walkthroughs, and commissioning efforts.\nAssist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during design and installation phases.\nEnsure designs align with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.\nHave exposure to projects in semiconductor, advanced high-tech manufacturing, cleanroom, or mission-critical facilities.\nFoundational knowledge in one or more of the following systems:Ultrapure or high-purity water systems\nSpecialty gas and chemical distribution systems\nWastewater treatment systems (including solvent or acid systems)\nFluid transfer and pumping systems\nHeat exchange systems\n\nUnderstanding of piping systems, including basic pressure drop and material selection considerations.\nFamiliarity with PFDs and P&IDs.\nSolid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.\nInternship or project experience within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facilities.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nSSOE offers a competitive total compensation package designed to support and empower our employees and their families.\nSalary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with location, education, and depth of experience.\nIncentives: Leadership bonus program and ownership investment opportunities.
