This person will play a critical role in winning and executing projects within the industry for a diverse list of leading-edge clients. And providing the best possible workplace for our employees gives us a competitive advantage-helping\nus attract and retain top talent and drive better business results.\nAI and Innovation\nAs part of our commitment to innovation, all team members will be trained on Microsoft Copilot and empowered to use it as a core tool in their everyday work.\nResponsibilities\nA Typical Day Might Include:\nEstablishes project scope of work in coordination with Discipline Captains and Department Managers including: planning of work, design concepts/design direction, determining discipline type and amount of tasks to be performed, communicates to DM staff capabilities to fit specific project needs.\nCommunicates client requirements to each discipline.\nPrepares project budget for design and expenses and work schedule to serve as a \"measuring stick\" of progress.\nResponsible for preparation of fee proposals.\nDirectly accountable for adherence to timetable and financial success of the project. Including establishment of change management and project change orders in a timely manner.\nPrepares the project plan, establishes control procedures, monitors progress, and takes corrective action as may be required.\nFollows established procedures to effectively administer project (i.e., construction cost estimating, correspondence, document control, etc.).\nSolicits for outside consultants/services as needed.\nCoordinates meetings and establishes all paper flow and document control with client, contractors, regulatory agencies and others involved.\nReviews and approves client billings.\nParticipates in client contact and business development activities.\nMay assist in the training or mentoring of other Assistant Project Managers.\nTravel to other SSOE facilities and/or client locations for coordination purposes\nTravel required.
