Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nKey Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting\nPerform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on ion implant equipment.\nTroubleshoot equipment failures and execute timely recovery actions to minimize production downtime.\nDiagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, RF, and control system issues.\nEscalate critical equipment issues to Equipment Engineers, Vendors, or Management when necessary.\nSupport equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning activities.\nShift Engineering Support\nProvide 24/7 shift coverage support for production operations.\nMonitor equipment performance and respond to production interruptions.\nEnsure equipment meets uptime, utilization, and reliability targets.\nCoordinate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Industrial Engineering teams to achieve production goals.\nContinuous Improvement\nAnalyze equipment downtime, repeat failures, and reliability concerns.\nImplement corrective and preventive actions.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and productivity.\nSupport defect reduction and yield improvement initiatives.\nDocumentation & Reporting\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and equipment logs.\nUpdate troubleshooting guides, maintenance procedures, and standardized work instructions.\nPrepare shift reports and communicate equipment status during shift handovers.\nEnsure compliance with document control requirements.\nSafety & Compliance\nAdhere to all semiconductor fab safety policies and procedures.\nFollow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, chemical safety, radiation safety, and cleanroom protocols.\nParticipate in safety audits and risk assessments.\nEnsure compliance with EHS and quality management requirements.\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Semiconductor Technology or related engineering discipline\n2-5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance is preferred.\nExperience with ion implantation equipment is highly desirable.\nFresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may be considered.\nKnowledge of:Ion Implant systems\nHigh Vacuum Systems\nRF Power Systems\nPLC and Control Systems\nRobotics and Automation\nElectrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting\nPreventive Maintenance Practices\n\nAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.\nFamiliarity with SPC, FDC, and semiconductor manufacturing systems is an advantage.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work independently under shift conditions.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nTeam-oriented mindset with strong customer support focus.\nAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.\nRotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays.\nCleanroom working environment.\nMay require handling of specialized semiconductor tools and equipment.\nWillingness to support emergency equipment recovery activities when required.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
