Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nYou are responsible for supporting manufacturing operations during assigned shifts by ensuring process stability, resolving technical issues, improving yield and productivity, and maintaining product quality and equipment performance. This role acts as the key engineering support for the production line, working closely with operators, technicians, maintenance, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure safe, efficient operations.\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nExperience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a shift-based production environment.\nGood understanding of manufacturing processes, SPC, and root cause analysis.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nMonitor process performance and production indicators during the shift\nIdentify, investigate, and support resolution of process deviations, defects, and downtime\nPerform root cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventive actions\nSupport immediate troubleshooting and recovery of equipment or process issues\nTrack key KPIs such as:- Yield\n- Scrap\n- Downtime\n- Cycle time\n- Throughput\n\nCoordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues quickly\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and standard operating procedures\nPrepare shift reports, technical summaries, and handover notes\nSupport implementation of process improvements and changes on the shop floor\nParticipate in shift handover meetings and communicate open issues clearly\nAssist in validation, qualification, and ramp-up activities when needed\nEscalate critical issues to senior engineers or management in a timely manner\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
