Description\nYou will help to design and develop Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) systems and algorithms for our drone systems and be part of a tight-knit team that provides safe, reliable drone systems and quality services to our distinguished customers in Singapore and around the region.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDesign, develop and modify guidance, navigation, and flight control systems and algorithms for our unmanned aircraft systems.\nDevelop and modify 6-DOF and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation environments.\nSelect, test, evaluate and integrate new sensors or navigation systems onto our drone systems.\nWrite, modify, and test firmware and flight code that runs on the flight control computers of our drone systems (in C or C++).\nAnalyze flight data to verify flight performance and to help to troubleshoot issues that are found during the flights of our drone systems.\nGenerate documentation on the specifications, design, test procedures and test results of the GNC systems and algorithms that were developed.\nParticipate in design and code reviews.\nSupport ground and flight test activities.\nWork in a collaborative manner with staff in other engineering (e.g. system, software, safety, flight test, etc.) and business groups.\nRequirements\n3+ years of industry or other relevant experience in GNC\nStrong background in system modelling, system identification, parameter estimation, frequency response analysis, classical and modern control theory.\nExperience in system modelling and control, analysis, and simulation in aircraft applications.\nExperience in developing model-based design and analyses using MATLAB/Simulink.\nKnowledge in inertial and other type of sensors for navigation (e.g. accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, GNSS receivers, pressure sensors, ranging sensors, etc.)\nKnowledge in Kalman filtering, digital signal processing and sensor data fusion.\nProficient in C/C++ programming language.\nProficient in software and development tools such as Linux, ROS and Git.\nExcellent written and verbal
