and direct ship repair, construction and conversion projects. \nConduct and lead the daily VSCC meeting on hot-works and incompatible jobs onboard to ensure safety of personnel and property are not endangered.\nMeet repairs / refit schedules by planning, monitoring projects’ critical path, cost control and execution.\nDevelop good working relationship with customers and maintaining teamwork showing high interests.\nSolve daily conflicts at ground level by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting master schedule.\nClosely liaise with classification societies, ship owners, owner specialist engineers, vessel crew and ship agents to ensure successful completion of the project meeting or exceeding customer’s expectations.\nMeet commercial / naval contractual commitments and quality of repaired ship.\nCapture additional works and raise work list and provide information to Commercial Dept for more competitive pricing.\nRequirements:\nDegree/Diploma in Naval Architecture/Marine/Mechanical Engineering.\nMin. 1 years experience in project management for ship repairs in similar capacity from marine / heavy industries.\nPossess SRM Certificate will be advantageous but not a must\nExperience in chairing VSCC meetings will be advantageous\nExperienced in project scope covering pipe laying and cables laying will be advantageous\nAble to make appropriate decisions and judgments, decisive and take proper actions\nAble to lead and manage ship repair, construction and conversion projects independently.\nWilling to work late at times and possess leadership qualities.\nProficiency in MS Office\nProficient in report writing\nOther Information:\nLocation: 55 Gul Road (Island-wide transport provided)\n5 days work week\nWorking Hours: 7.25am to
