The Software Solution Architect is responsible for driving the architecture, design, and technical direction of enterprise software systems. This individual leads the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with business objectives, technology strategies, and industry best practices.
The role requires a strategic thinker and strong technical leader who can collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to translate business requirements into robust architectural solutions. The Software Solution Architect is also responsible for ensuring system reliability, maintainability, security, and scalability while mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Solution Architecture & Design
o Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems
o Define system specifications, architecture standards, and development best practices
o Translate business requirements into technical and architectural blueprints
o Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture, compliance, and security requirements
o Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools that support long-term business and technology strategies
- Technical Leadership & Governance
o Guide development teams in implementing architectural decisions, design patterns, and coding standards
o Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for system optimization and continuous improvement
o Mentor engineers on software design principles, technical best practices, and emerging technologies
o Review and validate system integration, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements
o Manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural governance throughout project delivery
- Software Delivery & Continuous Improvement
o Oversee software lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
o Drive automation initiatives and CI/CD practices to improve development efficiency and software quality
o Lead validation, verification, and user acceptance testing from an architectural perspective
o Continuously assess and improve system reliability, performance, maintainability, and technical debt management
o Ensure alignment with project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and business objectives
Qualities We Value
- Technical Competencies
o Expertise in designing and architecting solutions using Java/J2EE, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
o Deep understanding of software architecture principles, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
o Proficient in architectural modeling and documentation methodologies such as UML and C4 Model
o Strong experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
o Familiar with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
o Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, SQL optimization, and data modeling
o Experience with modern frameworks and libraries such as Spring Boot, React, and JSF
o Skilled in automation, DevOps practices, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
