Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nThe Facilities Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing engineering and process improvement of site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant operation. The role oversees technical performance, maintenance strategy, improvement projects, and cross-functional support to maintain business continuity and meet operational requirements\nAs the Engineering Manager you need to ensure all the Facilities System compliance with\nMalaysia and local authority regulations; TNB, SAJ, SPAN, DOE, DOSH, etc\n\nInsurance (Loss Prevention) design and system requirement\n\nFMEA - Resilience and Robustness programs\n\nOperational Procedures (SOP/LOP/POR/WI/OCAP)\n\nSystem Efficiency Monitoring\n\nFac System Regulatory Technical Check\n\nYou will be accountable for the following responsibility :\nComplex Trouble shooting: ITP/Excursion RCA/8D\n\nFacilities System & Equipment Efficiency Improvement\n\nEnsure Documents (P&ID=as built) update & available\n\nImprovement Roadmaps Management\n\nPreparing all the technical specifications & scope of work\n\nDesign review and approval from Central Technical team.\n\nCommissioning and acceptance procedures upon project completion.\n\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or a related field\nMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in facility systems operation & maintenance\nFamiliarity with facilities system in semi-conductor industry; clean room, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Compressed Dry Air (CDA), vacuum, Super Insulated Vacuum Line (SIVL), Speciality Gas, Bulk Chemical Distribution System (BCDS), Waste Water Treatment Plant, Fluorite Waste Treatment Plant, Spent Concentrate Chemical (SCC), Heat Exhaust, Scrubber\nStrong knowledge in design and assessment of Facilities system\nStrong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills\nTechnical leadership\nElectrical maintenance and troubleshooting\nFacilities and utility systems knowledge\nVendor management\nDocumentation and reporting\nProblem-solving and decision-making\nCross-functional coordination\nSafety awareness\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
