Our technology starts with you.\nJob Title\nFacilities Operation Engineer\nDepartment\nFacilities O&M / Maintenance\nJob Purpose\nThe Facilities Operation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the site’s facilities utilities. The role also provides support for the coordination and maintenance activities related to facilities system as well as management of contractors, to ensure operational stability, equipment reliability, and compliance with company requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Facilities Operation:\nManage comprehensive facilities operations, providing direct oversight and guidance to technical staff/technicians/chargeman\nOversee day-to-day operation checklists, utilities consumption, trending and providing comprehensive reports and improvement\nEstablish operational procedures, OPL, work instructions and enforce LOP/SOP/POR compliance in Facilities Department.\nManage facilities operational budget and purchase related operation system rectification and stock balance.\nManage Operational work records, competency monitoring & regulatory requirement check, Online Gas Monitoring, stock balance, and other online monitoring system related to facilities operation.\nInvolve in all Facilities related meetings, discussion, visits, audits, central team\nElectrical Systems\nManage and maintain 132 kV and 11 kV substations with the supervision of competent person\nOversee operation and provide support for maintenance of electrical rooms, Main Switchboards (MSB), and breakers, including GIS, ACB, VCB, gensets, and all related electrical systems\nSupport on troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and restoration of electrical systems\nUse FMCS for monitoring, alarm review, and troubleshooting support\nPerform trend analysis and plotting to identify abnormalities and prevent failures\nPrepare accurate Operation reports, records, and technical documentation\nMechanical System (HVAC, Cold room, Vacuum, Scrubber, Exhaust, and Cleanroom)\nOversee operation of HVAC systems, Cold Room, Vacuum, Scrubber, exhaust and cleanroom facilities and provide support on the maintenance activities\nCoordinate with the engineer responsible for these systems to ensure all activities are properly controlled, monitored, and completed\nSupport maintenance activities related to cleanroom management, including HEPA filter integrity testing, calibration, and related works\nEnsure system reliability, compliance, and continuity of operation\nOversee operation of Water, Wastewater & Gas System and provide support on the maintenance activities\nManagement of contract workers, contractors and vendors related to the system.\nCoordinate with the engineer responsible for these systems to ensure all activities are properly controlled, monitored, and completed\nEnsure system reliability, compliance, and continuity of operation\nWater, Wastewater & Gas System (DIW, Wastewater, Recovery, SIVL, GN2, H2, Forming Gas, Cylinder Gas Management )\nProjects, Improvements, and Support\nIdentify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and performance\nSupport hook-up work inside production areas\nSupport on the management of vendors and contractors to ensure work quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with company requirements\nCoordinate closely with production, maintenance, engineering, EHS, and external service providers\nSafety and Compliance\nEnsure all activities are performed in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable standards\nSupport safe work practices, risk control, and equipment reliability at all times\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) or a related field\nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities operation\nFamiliarity with FMCS, CMMS, troubleshooting, and trend monitoring\nStrong knowledge of documentation, reporting, and maintenance record keeping\nExperience in managing vendors and contractors\nStrong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills\nKey Competencies\nTechnical leadership\nFacilities and utility systems knowledge\nVendor management\nDocumentation and reporting\nProblem-solving and decision-making\nCross-functional coordination\nEnvironmental, Safety & health awareness\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
