Our technology starts with you.\nYOUR ROLE\nResponsibilities\nMaintain equipment performance in cleanroom environment for quality production.\nContinually improve tool uptime availability, drive defect reduction and enhance hardware capability.\nDevelop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and improve MTBC.\nAnalyze FDC data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.\nProvide On Job Training for junior engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.\nDrive cost reduction projects.\nWork with equipment vendors, Hookup and Facility Team to perform tool relocation, startup and commissioning.\nCommunicate with equipment vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.Maintain work environment 5S.\n\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES\nA bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in Thin film (PVD).\nExperience working in PVD ENDURA 5500.\nGeneral knowledge of Risk Assessment, 8D, Ishikawa and Root Cause tools.\nGrowth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.\nStrong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills.\nEffective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
