Our technology starts with you.\nYour role:\nWe are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with strong expertise in metallization or backfinish operations to support and improve key semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role focuses on process stability, yield improvement, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust operational performance and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn and optimize metallization or backfinish process performance.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.\nTroubleshoot process issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nImprove yield, quality, cycle time, and cost through data-driven actions.\nSupport process qualifications, changes, and technology transfers.\nWork with equipment, production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues.\nAnalyze process data, trends, and capability to identify opportunities.\nSupport ramp-up, validation, and implementation of new products or changes.\nPrepare technical reports, documentation, and stakeholder updates.\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.\nYour skills and experiences:\nBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Materials Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.\n5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong exposure to metallization, backfinish, or related process areas.\nStrong analytic mindset with ability to troubleshoot process issues independently and perform root-cause analysis\nWell-versed in semiconductor process control frameworks, including SPC, FMEA, and APC\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.\nCore competencies:\nLeadership: Ability to guide technical discussions, influence decisions, and drive actions across teams.\nCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present clearly to all levels.\nTechnical expertise in process engineering\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills\nOwnership and accountability\nCollaboration across functions\nAbility to manage multiple priorities\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
