Our technology starts with you.\nAs a Software Engineer within the STM32Cube Ecosystem Tools team, you will contribute to the development of software building blocks for the STM32Cube ecosystem. You will join an agile, international team responsible for tools used by millions of STM32 users, such as STM32CubeMX2, STM32CubeIDE for Visual Studio Code, as well as STM32CubeCLI.\nDaily Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain backend and core software components for STM32 tools.\nImplement features and enhancements in Rust, C++, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nPerform in-depth analysis of complex technical issues, identify root causes, and propose robust solutions.\nContribute to tooling infrastructures (package management, configurations, internal APIs).\nWork in a structured and methodical manner, ensuring code quality and maintainability.\nCollaborate within an Agile/Scrum team (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews).\nConduct code reviews, write automated tests, and participate in continuous improvement activities.\nCommunicate effectively and collaborate with teams across multiple ST sites (Sweden, France, etc.).\nProfile and Required Skills\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.\nStrong foundations in software development and backend systems.\nStrong analytical skills and a passion for deeply understanding technical topics.\nAbility to work in a rigorous, structured, and organized manner.\nInitiative, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.\nComfortable working in a team environment with good communication skills.\nExperience with, or strong interest in:Rust and/or C++\nJavaScript / TypeScript\n STM32Cube Ecosystem\n\nKnowledge of:Git and software development workflows\nLinux or cross-platform environments\nAgile development methodologies\n\nProfessional proficiency in English.\nProficiency in French and Arabic are beneficial.\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
