Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Ammo Loader 2 will be responsible for setup and operation of Loading Machines. This role will be pivotal in the start-up and growth of a ground-up company. You will learn and become knowledgeable on the expected storage and protection of the materials to support the packaging and shipping process. You will be responsible for operating in accordance with our quality management system SOPs\nRequirements\nIncoming and in-process visual and mechanical inspection of materials and products.Operate, maintain, and service Loading Machines.\n\nOperate, maintain, and service Priming Machines.\nProficiency using calipers, dial indicators, and other calibrated precision equipment.\nPart picking, storage, and restock, including use of forklift and stairs.\nAccurately complete and document order process, in accordance with department SOPs.\nPackage and move finished product, to facilitate Production operations.\nHigh attention to detail.\nMaintain a safe work environment.\nUnderstand and meet/exceed set departmental production and efficiency targets.\nIdentify, resolve, and report employee safety issues or concerns.\nResolve conflicts and issues in a professional, respectful manner.\nEnsure that all company policies, rules, and regulations are being adhered to.\nMaintain thorough understanding of rack and warehouse safety protocols.\nDaily communications with peers and management on the pulse of the department.\nCapable of working scheduled shifts in an industrial environment, including long periods of standing.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nAbility to demonstrate proficiency and excellence in Ammo Loader 1 duties and responsibilities.\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nExperience in small warehouse operations\nExperience with ISO 9001:2015 or proven track record of success using LEAN principles.\nAble to physically lift 40+ pounds repeatedly over an extended period of time each day.\nFlexibility to work 10-12 hours per day (not to exceed 40 hours per week)\nCapable of working scheduled shifts in an industrial environment, including long periods of standing.\nMust be able to pay attention to detail and exercise good judgement\nGood verbal communication skills.\nBasic knowledge of machinery and ability to grasp technical concepts.\nMust be capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\nWe offer a competitive and attractive package of compensation and benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, paid vacation, sick pay, and holidays.
