This is achieved by integrating various onboard data sources, including a priori maps, LiDAR, cameras, GPS, and other available information. As a Senior Engineer, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of algorithms and systems to ensure the required performance of the online map standards are met.\nResponsibilities:\nWork in the team to deliver state-of-the-art online and offline perception and generative AI algorithms and systems for L4 self-driving vehicles.\nWrite robust software for real-time, resource-constrained, safety-critical applications.\nDrive features and work streams from problem statement to delivery.\nProactively identify limitations with the existing online mapping system and drive improvements.\nAlign internal stakeholders with strong presentation and communication skills.\nBuild consensus and execute on team priorities.\nQualifications: \nExperience architecting, training, and deploying deep learning models (transformers or diffusion or flow) into real-world environments.\nTrack record of driving applied research projects from start to completion, including conception, problem definition, experimentation, iteration, and finally publication or productization.\nExperience in software engineering and machine learning algorithm design.\nPrior experience in sensor fusion and/or online mapping is highly desirable. \nFluency in Python.\nExperience with C++.\nWe are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
