The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nOwn and process end-to-end Canadian payroll across multiple provinces, ensuring accurate and timely payments in accordance with established payroll schedules.\nReview and validate payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, leaves of absence, vacation payouts, and other earnings and deductions.\nEnsure compliance with applicable federal and provincial payroll legislation, including income tax, CPP, EI, and employer payroll taxes. Manage statutory remittances, garnishments, and other required deductions and filings, including year-end activities such as T4 preparation and distribution.\nReconcile payroll registers, liabilities, and general ledger entries, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate payroll records and audit documentation in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements.\nPartner with People Experience, Finance, external payroll providers, and employees to resolve payroll issues, respond to inquiries, and ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date across systems.\nIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency through automation and system enhancements. Support payroll projects as needed, including system implementations, integrations, testing, and process documentation.\nWhat You'll Bring to the Table\n2+ years of multi-province Canadian payroll processing experience..\nWorking knowledge of CRA regulations, provincial payroll requirements, statutory deductions, remittances, and year-end processes.\nExperience with payroll and HRIS platforms, such as ADP Workforcenow, UKG, Rippling or similar systems.\nStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and supporting payroll projects.\nThe compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in the posting country based on a global rate. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location. We do not ask candidates about current or prior salary history, and we will not use such information, if volunteered, in setting an offer.\nThis range represents base salary only.
