In this role, you’ll work on platform features, developer infrastructure, and integrations that enable millions of developers around the world to build software entirely in the browser. You’ll be part of a small, ambitious team focused on making software development more accessible to everyone.\nIf you enjoy building robust systems, shipping high-quality code, and collaborating across teams - this could be the role for you.\nHow You'll Contribute \nImprove the scalability, reliability, and performance of our Ruby on Rails application\n\nDesign and optimize data storage using PostgreSQL and object storage services\n\nBuild features for teams, organizations, and developer communities\n\nDevelop integrations with external platforms to extend our product ecosystem\n\nHelp review and shape code from peers to ensure quality, security, and best practices\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails\n\n5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases)\n\nExperience with AWS and modern cloud infrastructure\n\nFamiliarity with CSS, SASS, HTML, and other templating/styling languages\n\nExperience building web applications with REST or GraphQL APIs\n\nProduction experience with Node.js and TypeScript; this role works across both the Rails and Node/TypeScript stacks\nStrong communication skills - especially when explaining technical topics\n\nStrong verbal and written English communication skills are required, as this role involves frequent collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers where English is the primary working language.\n\nBonus Points \nFamiliarity with Cloudflare Workers or edge infrastructure\n\nInterest in working with AI or LLMs\n\nExperience integrating with GitHub APIs or other version control systems\n\nA Few Notes\nYou do not need a college degree to apply\n\nYou do not need to be located in the U.S. - we’re remote-friendly\n\nYou do not need to meet every qualification listed above.
