Job Summary

Join our team as an Evening Workshop Cleaner, dedicated to maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment for our workshop facilities. This role offers a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, working just two hours each evening. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure our workspace remains safe, hygienic, and professional, supporting a productive environment for all staff and visitors.

Location: Lenton Lane, Nottingham, NG7 2AX

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday -6:30pm to 8:30pm (2hrs a day, 10hrs a week)

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of workshop areas, including floors, workbenches, and equipment
• Use a scrubber dryer machine to clean the workshop floor areas (full training provided and no previous experience reuired)
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces and communal spaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
• Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or contamination
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within the scheduled two-hour window each evening

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and move equipment as needed
• Reliable and punctual, committed to adhering to the scheduled working hours from Monday to Friday
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is preferred
