RESPONSIBILITIESAssume a key role and active participation in the site leadership team\nManage the Section 197 transfer process, including employee onboarding, documentation, and consultation in compliance with South African labour legislation\nEstablish and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems for the new organisation/project\nLead end-to-end recruitment for new roles to meet project staffing requirements\nOversee all HR administration, including contracts, employee records, leave management, and disciplinary processes\nManage and coordinate payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and legislative compliance\nEnsure compliance with all relevant labour legislation, including BCEA, LRA, EEA, and UIF\nDevelop and implement training and skills development initiatives\nAct as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters\nProvide HR guidance and support to management and line supervisors\nSupport organisational culture, change management, and team integration\nDevelop KPI´s to measure and ensure a motivated, performance-focussed corporate culture\nReport periodically on all HR related topics to regional and national leadership\nSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM\nEnsure personal and site compliance to all procedures and policies of:\nIntegrated Management System\nCode of Ethics\nOccupational Health and Safety\nInformation Security\nProtection of Personal Information\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field\nMinimum 5-8 years’ HR generalist experience, with at least 3 years at management level\nProven experience managing Section 197 transfers\nStrong knowledge of South African labour legislation\nExperience with recruitment, payroll oversight, HR administration, and training coordination\nExcellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a project-based environmentPayroll system experience (e.g. Sage, VIP, PaySpace, or
