best.\nIdentify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.\nMonitor chemical usage, stock levels and treatment costs.\nImplement process changes and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProvide technical input on projects and assist with commissioning new plant installations.\nIdentify and manage risks that could damage plant equipment.\nDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nTrain and develop Process Controllers and Supervisors.\nEnsure the plant meets contractual quality and production targets.\nPerform standby duties when required.\nQualifications, Skills and Experience\nA B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering is preferred.\n3-5 years' experience in water treatment processes, with a proven track record of process improvements.\nExperience in Mine Impacted Water treatment is required.\nExperience operating and monitoring membrane filtration systems.\nQuick learner who can work independently with minimal supervision.\nOwn reliable transport and a valid driver's licence.\nMust be medically fit and have no criminal record.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong teamwork, leadership and decision-making abilities.\nSolution-focused, proactive and motivated to improve processes.\nGood time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.\nAbility to build and maintain positive working relationships.\nAbility to multitask and work under pressure.\nComputer
