In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating surgical procedures, managing medical administrative workflows, communicating with insurance payors (Workers' Comp, Personal Injury, and Medicare), and liaising directly with attorneys and clinical teams.\nIf you have at least 2 years of experience in U.S. surgery scheduling, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a strong customer-centric mindset, we encourage you to apply!\nTop 3 Daily Tasks\nSurgery & Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate, schedule, and track surgical procedures, consultations, and follow-ups while managing provider calendars with high accuracy.\nMedical Administration & Document Editing: Review, edit, and organize medical reports, surgical documentation, and client files to ensure complete clinical precision.\n Payor & Legal Coordination: Process and verify Workers' Compensation (W/C), Personal Injury (PI), and Medicare authorizations, while liaising directly with attorneys and insurance adjusters regarding case requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee end-to-end surgery scheduling workflows, ensuring seamless communication between patients, surgical centers, physicians, and administrative staff.\nReview and edit complex medical reports, ensuring accuracy before distribution to payors, legal teams, or patient records.\nManage Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Medicare claims details related to surgical approvals and pre-authorizations. \nCommunicate professionally with law offices and attorneys regarding Personal Injury and Workers' Comp cases.\nMaintain clear, professional written and verbal communication with patients to guide them through pre-op and post-op administrative steps.\nWork independently to solve scheduling bottlenecks, follow up on pending authorizations, and update patient files in the EMR.\nRequirements\n Experience: 2+ years of direct experience in surgery scheduling for a U.S. medical practice (experience in Orthopedics is a strong plus).\nInsurance & Legal Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation (W/C), Personal Injury (PI), and Medicare procedures. \nMedical Documentation: Proven experience reviewing and editing medical reports and clinical documentation.\n Language Skills: Fluent/Bilingual English (written and spoken) with strong interpersonal communication. Spanish speaking capability is preferred.\nTech Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and digital calendar management. \nEMR/EHR Experience: Hands-on experience with medical EMR systems.
