enterprise environments, from the legacy toolchain through modern Azure DevOps.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage source code control processes, including defining and enforcing standards, software baselining and versioning, branching strategy, and problem analysis, resolution, and tracking\nDesign and script automation workflows for efficient, reliable builds and releases into higher environments\nPerform build and deployment activities across multiple environments, modifying tasks and variables at the build and deployment stages to move releases through established processes\nServe as Azure DevOps Administrator for one of the systems, including creating and managing branches for each development stage across Release and Sandbox environments\nMonitor and optimize build pipeline performance to reduce build times, improve reliability, and increase developer productivity\nConduct root-cause analysis on build and deployment failures, and put preventive and long-term corrective measures in place\nAssess build-process issues to decide what can be resolved internally and what needs escalation, working across servers with varying levels of access\nDeploy new releases of build automation, configuration management, and version management software\nServe as technical advisor and primary liaison with vendor development teams\nAdvise development staff on project administration for applications that use build, configuration, and version management tools\nCreate and maintain build process documentation\nRequirements\nRequired Experience\n10+ years of primary responsibility for higher-environment build automation, auditing, and administration of software configuration and version management processes\n10+ years researching, evaluating, and recommending configuration and version management software\n10+ years deploying new releases of application, configuration, and version management software\n10+ years advising development teams on project administration for applications using build automation and configuration/version management tools\nTools & Technologies\nConfiguration management: ClearCase, ClearQuest, Git/Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure
