a DevOps / Platform Engineer, you will:\nAssess existing production environments and deployment processes to support Blue-Green deployment implementation.\nConduct technical discussions with application teams to understand application hosting, deployment workflows, infrastructure, network routing, and system dependencies.\nReview existing CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, virtual machines, load balancers, ingress controllers, and gateway configurations.\nDocument application architecture, integrations, interfaces, and dependencies between applications and shared databases.\nIdentify opportunities to split traffic between existing and new application versions while ensuring minimal disruption to production services.\nBuild and configure Green environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.\nConfigure traffic routing for test users through load balancers, ingress controllers, Route 53, and gateway rules.\nEnhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments, validation, rollback, and release management.\nImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting to validate application health and deployment success.\nSupport database release activities, including migrations, backward-compatible schema changes, and rollback procedures.\nWork closely with the Lead Architect and application teams to implement the designed solution and ensure production readiness.\nWhat You Bring to the Table:\n6+ years of overall experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related infrastructure and deployment engineering roles.\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms such as Amazon EKS or equivalent.\nPractical experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, or similar deployment management tools.\nStrong knowledge of AWS networking, including load balancers, Route 53, ingress controllers, and traffic routing.\nExperience with at least two CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.\nExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools.\nUnderstanding of Blue-Green deployment strategies, production validation, release management, and rollback mechanisms.\nBasic database deployment knowledge, including schema migrations and backward-compatible changes.\nScripting experience using Python or Bash.\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Grafana.\nYou Should Possess the Ability to:\nAnalyze existing application environments, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure configurations.\nIdentify application dependencies, database connections, integration points, and potential deployment risks.\nAssess the feasibility of Blue-Green deployments across applications and infrastructure components.\nDesign and implement traffic-splitting strategies for controlled testing of new application versions.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, deployment workflows, validation, and rollback procedures.\nTroubleshoot Kubernetes, networking, pipeline, and application deployment issues in production environments.\nCollaborate effectively with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and application owners.\nMaintain clear technical documentation, assessment findings, implementation plans, and follow-up actions.\nEnsure deployments are reliable, observable, secure, and minimally
