# Senior Application Support Engineer

As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you will: Monitor and support production applications to ensure high availability, stability, and performance. Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage recurring application issues. Handle application deployments, release activities, configuration changes, and production fixes. Monitor application logs, batch jobs, APIs, system interfaces, and alerts to identify and resolve operational issues. Manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar IT service management tools. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, security, and business teams to resolve production-related issues. Automate repetitive operational tasks using Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting. Develop and maintain operational documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and knowledge articles. Participate in major incident management, post-incident reviews, and problem management activities.
